Base44 WhatsApp — their assigned number, or yours with Whatsable
Your customers already have you saved in WhatsApp. Give your Base44 agent a brand-new number, and you're asking them to start over. WhatsAble skips that — it brings the number they already trust into the very same Base44 app, agent and all.
Their number is theirs. Yours is yours. Both can run side by side.

What Base44 gives you today, and what Whatsable adds
Feel like you have to pick one WhatsApp number over the other? You don't. Base44's agent channel and the number your customers already text can run side by side, starting today.
Base44 today: an assigned number
Every Base44 agent comes with a WhatsApp number built in, ready to go from day one. The catch: it's a brand-new number your customers have never seen — not the one already saved in their phones.
- Every agent gets its own WhatsApp number the moment you spin it up.
- They have to message you first — that's Base44's built-in rule to stop spam, and it's not something you can turn off.
- It runs on Base44's integration credits — one per relay message, plus whatever the agent's own action costs — and that's included free on every plan.
“Connect your own WhatsApp Business numbers.”
WhatsAble: your own number, today
Keep the number your customers already know. Connect it to your Base44 agent in a few clicks, and start sending from the same WhatsApp your business has always used.
- Meta Embedded Signup connects your number in a few clicks — and because WhatsAble is an official Meta Tech Provider, it's a path Meta has already signed off on.
- Meta's Coexistence mode keeps your WhatsApp Business app running on your phone the whole time — nothing you rely on today goes away.
- Agent Skills drop straight into your Base44 project and pull your token from Base44 Secrets — it's yours to set up, not a button Base44 flips for you.
Base44 app → Agent Skill → your own WhatsApp Business number
Four steps. No native connector, no one-click toggle.
- 1Install the skills — Run npx skills add whatsable/whatsapp-business-agent-skills --all -g in your Base44 project (optionally also npx skills add base44/skills -g for Base44's own skills).
- 2Add your token to Base44 Secrets — Log in once with skills/setup-notifyer/scripts/login.js to get a JWT, then save it as NOTIFYER_API_TOKEN, alongside NOTIFYER_API_BASE_URL, in Base44 Secrets. Never paste it in chat.
- 3Connect your number in Whatsable — Run Meta Embedded Signup in the Whatsable console on your own WhatsApp Business number. Keep the WhatsApp Business app — coexistence is supported.
- 4Test the documented path — Ask your Base44 agent to send a WhatsApp message through a backend function that reads the Secrets and calls the Whatsable API. Confirm it arrives on your own number, separate from Base44's assigned one.
Two ways teams keep both numbers running
Ops dashboard
Your team runs an ops dashboard inside a Base44 app. Field staff keep the WhatsApp Business app on their phones.
Outcome: One Whatsable number. The Base44 dashboard and the phone app stay on the same conversations.
Prototype to production
The Base44 agent that won internal buy-in needs a real WhatsApp number customers can message — not Base44's assigned one.
Outcome: Install Agent Skills, add Base44 Secrets, and keep building on the same Base44 project.
Base44 and WhatsApp, answered
Yes. Every Base44 app agent is assigned its own WhatsApp number today. It's free on all Base44 plans, runs on integration credits, and the person has to message first.
Not through a native Base44 feature yet. Base44's own docs still mark Custom Numbers "Coming Soon" — checked 2026-09-28, re-checked at publish. Whatsable gives you your own number now, alongside Base44's assigned one, through the Agent Skills path on this page.
No. It's a documented path, not a native connector: install the Whatsable Agent Skills, add your token to Base44 Secrets, and call the Whatsable API from a Base44 backend function.
Yes. Meta WhatsApp Coexistence keeps the WhatsApp Business app active on the same number while Whatsable and your Base44 agent run automations.
No. They're separate channels. Base44's assigned number keeps working for agents that use it. The Agent Skills path adds your own number alongside it.
Agent Skills integrations are on Pro and Agency. Whatsable plans are Bulk Message, Pro, and Agency.
