Labels
Tag chats so the right people find them. Keywords can apply a label automatically when a message contains them. An AI agent granted a label can read that label's description to decide when to apply it. Owners and admins create, edit, and delete labels.
Same number + phone
With Meta Coexistence, you keep the WhatsApp Business app on your phone and join WhatsAble on the same number through Embedded Signup. Read the overview on WhatsApp coexistence.
Light walkthrough (owners and admins)
- Open Business Numbers in settings.
- Tap Connect WhatsApp. Meta's popup lets you choose Cloud API or Coexistence.
- Set the primary number for the org once it is connected.
- Open Labels and create the labels your team needs.
- Add keywords so matching messages get labeled automatically.

When something needs attention
Most days the list is quiet. When a number needs a person, WhatsAble surfaces it in plain words so owners and admins know what to do next.
Needs a register retry
Meta still needs the number registered. Retry from the number's row until it clears.
Paused
Sending is paused on purpose. Resume when the team is ready, or leave it paused if that number should stay quiet.
Import history still running
On coexistence, chat history can still be receiving or writing. Wait for the import to finish before you treat the inbox as fully caught up.
Phone alerts
Inbound and AI handoff on your phone

FAQ
Who can open Business Numbers and Labels? Owners and admins only. Other roles see a denied banner.
Cloud API or Coexistence: which should I pick? Meta's Embedded Signup popup presents both. Choose Coexistence when you want to keep the WhatsApp Business app on the same number while WhatsAble joins. Choose Cloud API when you are connecting a Cloud API number without that phone-app path. Details live on whatsapp-coexistence.
Is Chat Handoff the same as pausing Make, Zapier, or n8n when someone replies? No. Chat Handoff flips from AI to a human when someone replies by hand, including from the phone. Pausing Make, Zapier, or n8n when a human replies is a separate automation setup. Chat Handoff is not the same as that automation pause.
Can I delete a number anytime? Delete is only available when the number is detached and has no messages and no broadcasts left on it. A locked primary cannot be paused or unlinked until another number is made primary.
