WhatsAble WhatsApp comparisonsWhatsAble vs Zernio

WhatsAble vs Zernio

Zernio is a multi-platform social and WhatsApp Cloud API wrapper with MCP, CLI, SDKs, and a conversation inbox, billed on connected accounts and outbound messages with Meta fees passed through at their claimed no markup. WhatsAble is a WhatsApp-led Cloud API shared inbox billed on unique contacts with Chat Handoff. If you are choosing between Kapso-class API plumbing and a real unique-contact team inbox, the meter and the product surface are where they diverge.

The real question

Cloud API wrapper vs unique-contact WhatsApp inbox.

Both products document Meta Coexistence paths so you can keep the WhatsApp Business app while you add Cloud API automation. Zernio defaults to Embedded Signup coexistence with QR connect and publishes up to six months of history synced on that path. WhatsAble connects via Embedded Signup as an official Meta Tech Provider.

Zernio is built for developers shipping WhatsApp and other social platforms inside a product: conversation-centric flat API, MCP, CLI, eight SDKs, inbox API, AI agents, and webhooks, billed on connected accounts plus outbound messages plus Meta fees at public never marks up or re-bills wording. WhatsAble is WhatsApp-led: Bulk Message, Pro, and Agency on unique contacts with Chat Handoff, dedicated iOS and Android apps, and Make, Zapier, and n8n on Pro and Agency.

The practical split is billing meters (unique contacts vs connected accounts and outbound messages), product shape (ops inbox and Chat Handoff vs API wrapper and MCP), and automation depth. Shared inbox exists on both sides. The win is meter, handoff product, mobile and team surface, and Make, Zapier, and n8n param depth, not whether Coexistence exists.

WhatsAble

What you keep when you connect WhatsAble

WhatsAble is built for WhatsApp-led teams as an official Meta Tech Provider. You connect through Embedded Signup with Meta Coexistence. The Business app stays on your phone. Messages sync between phone and inbox. About six months of 1:1 conversation history can come over at connect. Groups, Status, and Calls stay on the phone app.

Plans are Bulk Message, Pro, and Agency only. Pro is $49/mo for 500 unique contacts with overage at +$12 per extra 100. Agency is $53.90 per number. Extra team seats start at $12/mo on Pro and Agency. Meta WhatsApp fees are a separate bill with 0% WhatsAble markup.

When a teammate replies from the WhatsAble inbox or from the WhatsApp Business app on the phone, Chat Handoff switches that thread to Human Agent and the AI stops on that conversation. If you also run Make, Zapier, or n8n, pausing those automations when a human replies is a separate filter from native Chat Handoff.

Zernio

What Zernio's own pages say

Zernio markets a social and messaging API across many platforms with WhatsApp as a first-class Cloud API surface: templates, broadcasts, flows, inbox API, AI agents, MCP, CLI, and SDKs. Public pricing uses usage-based connected accounts and outbound messages with no named Free, Pro, or Platform seat plans.

Billing is connected accounts (first two free on public docs) plus outbound messages after the team-wide free allowance plus Meta WhatsApp fees. Zernio states it never marks up or re-bills Meta. Optional dedicated numbers start from $3/mo US when provisioned through Zernio; own-number Embedded Signup avoids the Zernio number fee.

Coexistence is documented as the default Embedded Signup path with up to six months of history synced. Public connection docs contrast coexistence (Business app stays; 20 messages/s; no Groups API or API calling) with api onboarding for Cloud API-only throughput. They publish migrate-from-Kapso guidance for Kapso-class wrapper buyers.

Hands-on

What we saw when we used both

We walked a WhatsAble Coexistence connect path and reviewed Zernio public pricing, WhatsApp connection docs, and n8n and Zapier directory listings.

WhatsAble: Coexistence connect and Chat Handoff

  1. Start Embedded Signup from the WhatsAble console. Meta Coexistence keeps the WhatsApp Business app on the same number without a support ticket.
  2. Send a test reply from the Business app on the phone. The message appears in the WhatsAble inbox.
  3. Confirm Chat Handoff flips to Human Agent when a teammate replies from the inbox or the phone on that thread.
  4. If Make, Zapier, or n8n also run on the number, configure human-reply pause separately from Chat Handoff.

Zernio: public pricing and developer surface pages

  1. Open docs.zernio.com/pricing. Connected accounts 1–2 are free; outbound messages first 10,000/mo free then $0.0001/msg on public docs.
  2. Read platforms/whatsapp/connection for default coexistence Embedded Signup and up to six months history synced.
  3. Skim migrate-from-Kapso and WhatsApp product pages for MCP, CLI, and conversation API positioning.
  4. Use n8n.io/integrations/zernio and zapier.com/apps/zernio for public directory listings; Zernio does not list a native Make.com app on the public Make directory.

Contact-volume pricing

WhatsAble Pro vs Zernio usage-based WhatsApp path (1 connected account)

WhatsAble Pro vs Zernio usage-based WhatsApp path at the same contact-volume rows.
