WhatsAble WhatsApp comparisonsWhatsAble vs ManyChat

WhatsAble vs ManyChat

ManyChat is built for social chat marketing across Instagram, TikTok, Messenger, and WhatsApp. WhatsAble is WhatsApp-led Cloud API with unique-contact billing and Chat Handoff. If you are outgrowing a marketing chatbot, the bill and the product shape are where they diverge.

The real question

Marketing chatbot vs WhatsApp-led inbox.

Both products can connect WhatsApp through the Cloud API. ManyChat documents Coexistence on live help, so you can keep the WhatsApp Business app on the same number while you run automations and a shared inbox. That shared ground is not the whole story.

ManyChat packages social comment-to-DM growth across Instagram, TikTok, Messenger, and WhatsApp with subscription pricing on Active Contacts and WhatsApp delivery through the Manychat Wallet. WhatsAble is WhatsApp-led: Bulk Message, Pro, and Agency plans billed on unique contacts with Make, Zapier, and n8n on Pro and Agency.

The practical split is billing meters, how Meta fees show up, whether chat history comes over at connect, and whether you want a social marketing suite or a WhatsApp ops inbox as the center of the stack.

WhatsAble

What you keep when you connect WhatsAble

WhatsAble is built for WhatsApp-led teams as an official Meta Tech Provider. You connect through Embedded Signup with Meta Coexistence. The Business app stays on your phone. Messages sync between phone and inbox. About six months of 1:1 conversation history can come over at connect. Groups, Status, and Calls stay on the phone app.

Plans are Bulk Message, Pro, and Agency only. Pro is $49/mo for 500 unique contacts with overage at +$12 per extra 100. Agency is $53.90 per number. Extra team seats start at $12/mo on Pro and Agency. Meta WhatsApp fees are a separate bill with 0% WhatsAble markup.

When a teammate replies from the WhatsAble inbox or from the WhatsApp Business app on the phone, Chat Handoff switches that thread to Human Agent and the AI stops on that conversation. If you also run Make, Zapier, or n8n, pausing those automations when a human replies is a separate filter from native Chat Handoff.

ManyChat

What ManyChat's own pages say

ManyChat markets chat and social marketing automation for creators and brands across Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, and Messenger. Subscription pricing is based on Active Contacts, with WhatsApp message delivery debited through the Manychat Wallet using public rate tables.

On coexistence, ManyChat help documents a Coexistence connect path alongside other WhatsApp setup options. Their connect guide states that your chat history will not transfer to Manychat when you connect.

ManyChat WhatsApp starts on the Pro plan. Essential does not include WhatsApp, SMS, or Email. Pro includes 2,500 Active Contacts and up to three channels on the public plan help.

ManyChat lists public Zapier and Make.com integrations and an API on Pro. An n8n.io integrations page exists as a verified community partner node; it is not claimed here as first-party n8n core.

Hands-on

What we saw when we used both

We walked a WhatsAble Coexistence connect path and read ManyChat public pricing and connect help on 2026-10-02.

WhatsAble: Coexistence connect and Chat Handoff

  1. Start Embedded Signup from the WhatsAble console. Meta Coexistence keeps the WhatsApp Business app on the same number without a support ticket.
  2. Send a test reply from the Business app on the phone. The message appears in the WhatsAble inbox.
  3. Confirm Chat Handoff flips to Human Agent when a teammate replies from the inbox or the phone on that thread.
  4. If Make, Zapier, or n8n also run on the number, configure human-reply pause separately from Chat Handoff.

ManyChat: public pricing and connect docs

  1. Open manychat.com/pricing. Pro lists $39/mo on monthly billing and $29/mo billed annually, with 2,500 Active Contacts included on public help.
  2. Read the connect guide: chat history will not transfer to Manychat when you connect WhatsApp.
  3. Read messaging windows help: with Coexistence, the Business app can message anytime; API messaging still follows the 24-hour window rules.
  4. Note WhatsApp delivery runs through the Manychat Wallet per the public WhatsApp pricing guide, separate from the Active Contacts subscription.

Contact-volume pricing

WhatsAble Pro vs ManyChat Pro at the same contact volumes

Pair WhatsAble Pro with ManyChat Pro: WhatsApp starts on ManyChat Pro, and Essential has no WhatsApp. Rows use unique contacts as the left axis for WhatsAble. ManyChat Pro includes 2,500 Active Contacts, so the Pro base stays flat through 2,000 on these rows. At 5,000, ManyChat Pro overage math applies.

WhatsAble Pro: monthly platform list (Meta delivery separate). ManyChat Pro: monthly subscription list in the table column unless noted.

Contact volume / moWhatsAble ProManyChat Pro
500$49/mo$39/mo on monthly billing (inside 2,500 Active Contacts)
1,000$109/mo (= $49 + 5 × $12)$39/mo on monthly billing (inside 2,500 Active Contacts)
2,000$229/mo (= $49 + 15 × $12)$39/mo on monthly billing (inside 2,500 Active Contacts)
5,000$589/mo (= $49 + 45 × $12)$164/mo on monthly billing (= $39 + 2,500 × $0.05); optional $124/mo annual-sub framing (= $29 + 2,500 × $0.038)

ManyChat Pro also lists $29/mo billed annually ($348/yr) at 500 through 2,000 on these rows. Active Contact overages on annual plans still bill monthly.

  1. Sources: whatsable.app/pricing, manychat.com/pricing, and ManyChat Pro plan help (list prices checked 2026-10-02). New ManyChat pricing model from Mar 2, 2026 onward uses Active Contacts; do not mix legacy cumulative Pro pricing.
  2. WhatsAble bills unique contacts reached that month. ManyChat bills Active Contacts (people you interact with that month). Close cousins, not the same unit.
  3. ManyChat WhatsApp delivery runs through the Manychat Wallet rate card while WhatsAble passes Meta fees at 0% markup with Meta billed separately.
  4. At 500 through 2,000 Active Contacts, ManyChat Pro list base can undercut WhatsAble Pro on platform subscription alone. Meta and Wallet charges are separate on both sides.
